Origins
STARTED IN A STUDIO.
BUILT FOR THE LONG TERM.
Blacklemur Innovations was founded in 2016 by Claudius Mainja at 33 Argyle Road, Avondale, Harare. The premise was simple: the best creative and technical work happens when the people designing the brand are the same people building the product.
Eight years later, that premise has not changed — it has been proven. We have delivered over 120 projects across 14 industries in 4 countries, and every one of them started with the same question: what are you trying to build?
We are deliberately small because scale often dilutes craft. Every client works with senior people. Every project gets the attention it deserves. No assembly lines, no junior handoffs, no work that leaves the building before it is right.
